When people stock up on cleaning products and toilet paper it seems to be that they are being cautious and preparing on how NOT to get the virus. That’s ok and its fine as long as you don’t catch it. But the real problem is doing all you can do IF YOU do catch it, because 100’s of thousands of people around the world and in this country are getting it and its adding up everyday.
The virus effects people in different ways. For a fair number of people it is not too bad. Those aren’t the people we have to worry about. The virus seems to get in through the nose and it may stay in the upper throat, mouth and nose. It may give you a bad headache, won’t feel like eating, will have little energy, may be much better in 5 to 7 days or may still take 10 days or more to feel much better.
When the problem gets worse is when the virus moves down into the lungs and invades the lower lungs. When the infection is wide spread it is that much harder for the immune system to catch up. Fluid in the lungs will likely case pneumonia and will contribute to a fatality since the immune system is overwhelmed.
If someone can get used to breathing only through the nose then the virus is less likely to be inhaled deeply and to immediately get into the lower areas of the mouth and throat. When only breathing through the nose there is a much better chance that the virus will be filtered or stopped in the nostrils or nasal cavity. It is also not a difficult thing to do to get used to ‘washing’ the nostrils gently with warm water a number of times during the day. Or rinsing the nose anytime you feel like a sneeze is coming on when possible. Sneezing is the result of something getting into the nose and attempting to get the cause out is always a good idea if possible.
This is not going to guarantee that some virus may not infect the person but even so once the immune system becomes activated this practice of clearing the nose can help in restricting the volume of virus and keeping it in a more manageable area.
Taking in much more fluid than you would normally do will help excrete the virus and assist the kidney and liver so that the toxins will dilute and hopefully prevent those potential organ failures. Mega doses of Vitamin C should be taken, typically up to or close to 10,000 mg daily depending on body weight.
Malaria drug hydroxychloroquine is being widely used by doctors to treat themselves and their nurses and staff and prescriptions may be available by asking. It is often used with z-pack which is a group of antibiotics for the purpose of preventing the invasion of a range of bacterial infections which may occur since the immune system is so weakened.
It may not be possible to enter a dry sauna but it is reported that being outside in the strongest and hottest direct sunlight assists the body and slows the increase of the virus. Here is one instance that being in a closed car where the temperature may reach 140 degrees could actually be helpful. But as you can conclude the intake of large amounts of water or other fluids is critical.
The body can stand a temperature of 107 but brain cells can and will die if not protected from this extreme fever.
A wet compress applied to the neck, base of the skull or scalp is a possible method to reduce the temperature here while the rest of the body continues to show a temperature of 104 to 107. These are extreme circumstances which nevertheless may be the difference in life and death situations.
Inversion tables are used for posture and a variety of spine issues but they allow gravity to be used to help clear the lungs when the head and shoulders are much lower than the rib cage. Mucus may be draining on a continuous basis and fluids cannot pool for hours over night or while the patient is lying for perhaps several days on end.
The corona virus seems to often persist for 2 full weeks and some nutrition is going to be needed even though it is likely the patient will have neither appetite, taste for, or desire for any food. Steamed white rice, as much honey as possible at any time, a few ounces of yogurt every day or so, and an egg every couple of days may be tolerated. Again fluid should be forced and a gallon of liquid such as diluted juice, spring water is not excessive over a 24 hour period.
